Luokeng Abode

When Zhong Yuyan retired and returned to his hometown, he renovated and extended the original study, built Siyuan, Yuqing Lou and Shuyu Platform and had it renamed “Luokeng Abode”. Zhong Yuyan followed his father’s wish by teaching in “Luokeng Abode”. Luokeng Abode consists of hall, patio and wing room. There are bamboo carvings of spring, summer, autumn and winter done by Zheng Banqiao in the Qing. Tao Zhu, then 1st secretary of Guangdong Province once lived here.
