Guanyin Hall

Apart from the forefather Yuyan, the offspring of the Zhong clan also constructed Guanyin (a Bodhisattva) Hall to worship Guanyin. According to the tradition of “one on the left has a higher status than that on the right”, Guanyin Hall was built on the left of Yuyan Hall, the rear wall of Guanyin Hall protruded over that of Yuyan Hall and the ground of Guanyin Hall was made higher than that of Yuyan Hall, showing higher status of Guanyin. Yuyan Hall surpassed Guanyin Hall in indoor area and main ridge height to demonstrate the great image of the forefather Yuyan among Zhong clansmen.
